What got you here?

Always loved the deadlift and back squat movements as a cross fitter. After 5 years of Crossfit I decided it was time to focus solely on powerlifting and the movements I enjoy the most.
Why did you stay?

The coaching and programming are second to none.
The gym, the culture & the community are terrific and I have been made to feel really welcomed. I have made so great friends here.
Why do you lift?

I just love it. The feeling of the challenge, the accomplishment of achieving PBs and little goals. It’s also a great way to keep healthy and let the stresses of my day go.

Where did you start and where are you now?

I started as a hack with an ugly back squat of 181kg
After 18 short months I can squat 205kg with form and technique
We had to strip the old habits right back and start from scratch and it has been rewarding
What about your goals?

To win a comp and not just podium
A 230 squat
120 bench
250 dead
All as a 93 will be nice
